Nigeria : World Cup Squad (Provisional)

New Nigeria world cup coach Lars Lagerback has recalled two Premier League based strikers in his provisional 30 man Nigeria world cup squad.

While Everton’s Victor Anichebe and Portsmouth’s John Utaka are back in the squad, Hull City midfielder Seyi Olofinjana has been left out. Lagerback has called up no less than eight strikers, but Obafemi Martins and veteran Kanu are nominally included as midfielders.
