England Provisional World Cup Squad

England boss Fabio Capello has finally announced his provisional 30 man England World Cup squad and there are a few surprises in store.

Among the absentees are the injured trio of Owen Hargreaves, Joleon Lescott and Wes Brown, with veteran Gary Neville also missing out. Coming in, however, are defender Michael Dawson and Manchester City’s Adam Johnson, neither of whom have been capped by England.

Also returning are Scott Parker, Darren Bent and Joe Cole, all of whom were expected to be left out.
