Japan vs England Preview

England boss Fabio Capello will give Sunderland striker Darren Bent and Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone starting places in this warm up match with Japan.

Huddlestone will start in the centre of a four man midfield with Frank Lampard. Theo Walcott and Aaron Lennon will both play, with Lennon most likely deployed on the left.

Veteran keeper David James starts ahead of Rob Green and Joe Hart, who both played in England’s last friendly against Mexico.

The defensive foursome is likely to be Capello’s first choice for the 2010 World Cup Finals, with Terry, Ferdinand, Glen Johnson and Ashley Cole all starting for England.

Ex-Celtic midfielder, and Japan’s most recognizable talent, Shunsuke Nakamura, is injured and will play no part in this match.

Japan coach, Takeshi Okada is sure to freshen up his own starting XI after his side were booed by the crowd, following a 2-0 loss to South Korea.
