After much rumour, speculation and outright guesswork, England boss Fabio Capello announced his final England world cup squad this afternoon.
The most surprise omission was that of winger Theo Walcott, who had played a significant part in England’s World Cup qualification campaign. Among the other players to miss out were Sunderland striker Darren Bent, Everton left back Leighton Baines and Spurs’ duo Tom Huddlestone and Michael Dawson.
