By on June 19, 2010

Winger Arjen Robben is fit but is likely to be named as a substitute for Bert van Marwijk’s Netherlands side. Rafael van Der Vaart is set to keep his place on the left side of midfield.

van Marwijk is set to name the same starting XI that beat Denmark 2-0 in their opening match, with Dirk Kuyt and van der Vaart supporting Robin Van Persie in a lone striker role.

Wesley Sneijder and Nigel De Jong will start in the centre of midfield for the Dutch.

Japan head coach Takeshi Okada will stick with his 4-1-4-1 formation after a 1-0 opening victory against Cameroon. Yoshito Okubo will once again perform the lone striker role with support coming from goalscorer Honda, Endo, Hasebe and Daisuke Matsui.
