USA v Ghana Preview

By on June 26, 2010

Striker Robbie Findley returns for Bob Bradley’s USA side against Ghana.

Findley picked up two yellow cards in the United States’ opening two matches and was suspended for their 1-0 victory over Algeria. Findley is set to replace the fabulously named Herculez Gomez, who was substituted in the USA’s last match.

After a decent performance last time out Maurice Edu will retain his starting position in favour of Jose Francisco Torres.

Landon Donovan, Bradley’s son Michael and Fulham forward Clint Dempsey will continue to provide the attacking threat to support Jozy Altidore.

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac will again be without centre half Isaac Vorsah, who is still struggling with injury.

Despite an alleged falling out with Rajevac, Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari may come back into the side. There are unlikely to other changes to the starting XI that lost narrowly to Germany in their last match.

KICK-OFF: SATURDAY JUNE 26th 19:30 GMT
