Chile will be looking to confirm their place at the top of Group H with a victory over Vicente Del Bosque's Spain side.

Chile have two players suspended for this Group H clash with Spain and a further four are one booking away from suspension.

Definitely out for Marcelo Bielsa’s side are midfielders Matias Fernandez and Carlos Carmona. Jorge Valdivia looks most likely to replace Fernandez, while Rodrigo Millar, who has overcome a calf injury, could step in for Carmona.

Upfront, David Suarzo will again lead the line, despite the Inter striker being on a yellow card.

For Spain, the news of Andres Iniesta’s recovery from a leg injury means that the Barcelona man is likely to start for Del Bosque’s side.

Spain have no other injury worries and are the only side in the 2010 World Cup Finals not to have conceded a booking or red card. However, Del Bosque is unlikely to make any significant changes to the side that won 2-0 last time out. This means David Villa will again be partnered by Fernando Torres in attack.

All time Switzerland top scorer, Alexander Frei returns for this match against Marcelo Bielsa's Chile side.

Chile striker Humberto Suazo returns, while Switzerland’s all time leading goalscorer Alex Frei could be back for Ottmar Hitzfeld’s side.

Frei picked up an ankle injury before his squad flew out to South Africa, but has been back in training this week.

Also back in contention is West Ham midfielder Valon Behrami, who has overcome a thigh injury. Definitely out, however, is centre back Phillipe Senderos, who suffered an ankle injury in the victory over Spain.

Chile manager Marcelo Bielsa may bring Suazo into the starting line-up, but Suazo faces competition from Alexis Sanchez and Jean Beausejour for a place in attack.

Play maker Jorge Valdivia is back, despite a muscle problem suffered in the opening match against Honduras.

BETTING ON CHILE AT WORLD CUP 2010

CHILE TO WIN WORLD CUP 2010: 67.0 at Bet365 – Bet Now Or Open Account

CHILE TO WIN GROUP H: 6.0 at 888 Sport and Bet24

CHILE WORLD CUP BETTING TIPS

How I got lumbered with this one, I’m not sure. But FIFA have Chile ranked at the 15th best team in the World and the bookmakers make them second favourites to qualify (they’re 1.62 at Bet365 to Qualify) but their opponents in Group H are Spain, Switzerland and Honduras.

To my mind, however, Chile’s position in the FIFA rankings is probably a false one – a result of geography rather than ability. Switzerland and Honduras are both competitive teams and Chile, Honduras and Switzerland will all take points off each other.

However, Swiss football has come out of the 2nd division in recent years and I think that – with strikers like Alex Frei and Eren Derdiyok of Bayer Leverkusen -they are more likely to get out of the Group alongside Spain.

Expect Chile to go out at the first hurdle.
