Nick Lewis previews what could be the last match of the 2010 World Cup Finals for both of these sides.

After a turbulent week for the France squad, coach Raymond Domenech will be looking forward to concentrating on the football as Les Bleus take on South Africa.

With striker Nicolas Anelka expelled from the squad, Andre-Pierre Gignac looks set to replace the Chelsea forward in attack.

Domenech will be forced also to reshuffle his midfield to replace the suspended Jeremy Toulalan. Youann Gourcuff is the main most likely to step in.

South Africa manager has a number of suspensions to deal with. Fulham midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi and goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune are both suspended. Moeneeb Jospehs is favourite to replace Khune between the sticks.

Both sides have a number of players one card away from suspension including South Africa’s Steven Pienaar and France’s Franck Ribery.

Both coaches could make a number of changes ahead of this evening's match between France and Mexico. Mark_S takes care of the preview.

France coach Raymond Domenech is likely to make a tactical switch away from the 4-3-3 formation that looked shaky against Uruguay in Les Bleus opening match.

This means that Nicolas Anelka or Thierry Henry could start upfront on their own in a 4-2-3-1 set up with Abou Diaby and Jeremy Toulalan (who is on a booking) shielding the defence.

Florent Malouda may come in on the left of midfield, replacing Sidney Govou who would drop to the bench.

France have further been hampered by an injury to second choice keeper Cedric Carrasso, who suffered a thigh injury in training.

Mexico boss Javier Aguirre will be pleased that Barcelona defender Rafael Marquez has declared himself 100% fit after suffering a knock in Mexico’s opening match.

Aguirre, however, may drop goalkeeper Oscar Perez in favour of Guillermo Ochoa after a poor display by Perez against South Africa. However, Aguirre has promised that the attacking 4-3-3 formation he used will remain, with Gio Dos Santos, Carlos Vela and Guillermo Franco providing the firepower.

BETTING ON FRANCE AT WORLD CUP 2010

FRANCE TO WIN THE WORLD CUP : 19.0 at Expekt – Bet Now

FRANCE TO WIN GROUP A : 1.90 at Bet365, Paddy Power, Bet24

FRANCE BETTING TIPS

Two words: Raymond Domenech. How Domenech is still in a job after presiding over a shocking Euro 2006 and a, to say the least, faltering World Cup qualification campaign is one of life’s great mysteries.

With Domenech in charge, you can expect France to do pretty badly. Word from the camp suggests that his tactics confuse the players.

Luckily for France, their group (Group A) has no really strong teams, featuring Uruguay, South Africa and Mexico so I would expect France to qualify.

However, they will then be facing a clash with someone from the Group of Death, Group B. Frankly, I’m not 100% confident idea who is going to qualify from Group B, but any one of Argentina, Greece, Nigeria or South Korea is capable of beating France under Domenech.

BEST FRANCE BETTING TIP : France to get knocked out in 2nd round

Best Odds: 3.30 at Bet24 – Click To Bet Now Or Open Your Account
